Cathy is an associate attorney at LaMont Law. She followed her father, Don McCann, into law after working for his Salem law firm throughout her school years. She returned to her roots in private practice with an emphasis on family law after several years in higher education advancement, and is so pleased to be back in service to her community. Cathy grounds her practice in kindness and diligence, while using her extensive knowledge of family law to help families and individuals strategize and plan for their future. Cathy enjoys helping families navigate adoptions, guardianships, divorces, custody and support matters through detailed explanation of the court process and communication every step of the way.

Cathy enjoys the practice of family law and assisting families with compassion and professionalism. Outside of the office, family comes first. Cathy is a wife and mom of 3, grandmother to 1 (with another on the way!), and the semi-pro wrangler of a very sweet and very energetic Golden Retriever named Luca.
